The ZN-3A is the heavyweight of the ZN series of paddles. This vertical iambic key weighs approximately 5 pounds 6 ounces and uses 4 large diameter feet for stability. It has been updated to include 3 ball bearings per lever arm.

The ZN-4 is built on a 3/4" x 3 1/2" w x 3" d base and uses the 3 mounting point bearing plates. It weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces and uses 4 large diameter feet for maximum stability.

The ZN-4A has been updated to a 3/4" x 3 1/2"w x 3" d base and also incorporates the larger feet as shown on the ZN-4.

The ZN-5A is the round base version of the ZN-4A. It has a 3/4" thick x 3 1/4" diameter brass base and uses 4 feet for maximum stability. Please note that this key can also be built with the 3 mounting point bearing plates which covers the center post as seen on the ZN-4 model.

The ZN-5B is mounted on a 4 inch diameter brass base. It weighs in at 3 pounds 8 ounces and uses the longer fingerpieces and 4 large diameter feet.

The ZN-8 is built on a 3/4" x 3" diameter brass base. It has 4 feet for maximum stability, uses 3 ball bearings per lever arm and has the 3 mounting point bearing plate.

The ZN-8 SPECIAL EDITION features a 3/4" x 3" bronze base with black bearing plate and posts. It has 3 ball bearing per lever arm. The key has 4 feet for maximum stability.

The ZN-8A has the same base and features of the ZN-8 but uses the smaller bearing plate with the large center post.

The ZN-9 has a 3" x 3 1/2" brass base and weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces. It incorporates the large diameter feet giving it maximum stability.

The ZN-9 can be built with the bearing plate showing center post or the 3 mounting point bearing plate which encloses the center post. Please specify when ordering.

The ZN-9A has a new base size. It is now on a 3/4" x 3"w x 2 1/2"d base which improves the stance and looks of the key. It also uses 3 ball bearing per lever arm like the ZN-8, ZN-8A, and ZN-9. The ZN-9A can be built with the small bearing plate showing the center post or the larger 3 mounting point bearing plate which encloses the center post. Please specify your choice when placing your order.

The ZN-9A can be built with the brass base and brass bearing plate and posts, gray textured base with black bearing plate and posts, brass base with red bearing plate and posts, or red base with brass bearing plate and posts. The painted bases consist of the machined brass base, primer and 2 finish coats of paint. This also applies to the bearing plate and posts. Please specify when ordering.

The ZN -QRP has been given a new base size. It is now on a 3/4" x 2 1/4" w x 2" d base. It weighs approximately 1 pound 4 ounces and now uses the 3 mounting point bearing plate. It has 3 ball bearings per lever arm. This key would also serve well as a portable or home station key occupying very little real estate on your desk.

The ZN-QRP can be built with the bearing plate showing the center post or the 3 mounting point bearing plate which encloses the center post. Please specify when ordering.

The ZN-SL has been upgraded with a new base size to make the selection process easier. It is now on a 3/4" thick x 3 1/2" wide x 3" deep base and weighs in around 2 pounds, 14 ounces with 4 large diameter feet for stability (see photo). It can be built with either a single fingerpiece (coarse black only) or with 2 fingerpieces (choice of standard colors) as shown. Please specify whether you want a single fingerpiece or 2 fingerpieces when placing your order.

The ZN-SLR is the round version of the single lever paddle ZN family. It is built on a 4 inch diameter brass base approximately 3/4 " thick. It weighs in at 3 pounds 6 ounces and uses 4 large diameter feet for maximum stability. It can be built as shown with a single fingerpiece or with 2 seperate fingerpieces as can be seen on the ZN-SL model.
